This Privacy Policy explains how Go Focus (“the app,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the app. By using Go Focus, you acknowledge the practices described below.
1. Information you provide
Go Focus does not require an account. We do not ask you to provide your name, phone number, address, or other profile information inside the app.
You may create task titles, choose task categories, set focus-session goals, adjust timer settings, and generate session history. This content is stored locally on your device using Apple-provided storage.
2. Technical information
The app may make limited technical requests to service providers to retrieve operational configuration and support reliable app behavior. During these requests, service providers may process technical information such as an IP address, device or operating-system information, app version, language, and request timestamps.
We do not use this information to create an advertising profile, and the current version of Go Focus does not display third-party advertising.
3. How information is used
Information handled by the app may be used to:
- Provide timer, task, streak, goal, and insight features.
- Save your preferences and restore your progress on the same device.
- Maintain reliable operation and diagnose technical issues.
- Respond when you contact us for support.
4. Data storage and retention
Tasks, app settings, selected-task information, and session history are stored on your device. They remain there until you delete the relevant content, clear session history, remove the app, or erase the device.
Limited technical records processed by service providers may be retained according to those providers’ security and retention practices.
5. Sharing and sale of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may rely on service providers for limited operational services. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices and only for the services they provide.
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a valid request from a public authority, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
6. Your choices
You can manage your information in the following ways:
- Delete individual tasks from the Tasks screen.
- Clear completed session history from Settings.
- Delete locally stored app data by removing the app from your device.
- Contact us with questions about this policy.
7. Children’s privacy
Go Focus is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the matter.
8. International processing
Operational service providers may process technical information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable, such processing is subject to the provider’s safeguards and legal obligations.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the app, legal requirements, or our practices. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
